Hello Big Ole World !

Dialog in the Dark is an exhibit that is temporarily at Union Station. It is a hands on experience of what it would be like to really be blind. Large rooms are set up to simulate every day places, like parks and restaurants. There is even real grass and a huge water pool were you take a boat ride. And you walk through these rooms in complete darkness. There is no difference if you close your eyes or not. The point of the exhibit was to show people what it is really like to be blind. Each patron is given a cane to help show how your other senses come alive when you are blind. You are also lead by a person who is actually blind or visually impaired through the exhibit.
